After the visit with the Cromwell's in TN, Gran-Gran graciously volunteered to make the long-haul back with us. We enjoyed several days with him before he headed back to TN.
It's that time! I received specific instructions from the man that went a little something like this "Have our boy potty trained before I get back." Of course, Adam was kidding but it was time to start. Here is Gavin showing off his new 'Mater' underwear. (They didn't last long-as my new rule was dirty accident=trash can)
With the new spring/summer weather comes one of my favorite sports...softball. Adam ordered Gav his very own chair to take to the games.
Of course, no game is complete without a trip to the concession stand.
Other things that make their appearance with the new weather...this guy shows himself quite regularly in this same spot on our run.
Gav found his first of many hatched Robin eggs.
It's that time again...time to send Dad a package complete with Gav's special cookies.
Gavin enjoying some 'boy' time with the neighborhood dudes.
Gavin has decided to resurrect Adam's old buddy, "Brownie" the bear. Brownie now goes everywhere Dog-dog goes.
Eating his reward for being a good boy in SS. Chocolate donuts-his (and his dad's) favorite!
From our flower bed...
A very rare sight, Gavin pooped after playing soccer with Biggie.
Biggie's second visit of the deployment. Not sure what we would do without her (and Punk-her rotten dog too).
This month, we found out the Cromwell's are having a...
My Mother's Day Present!
More playtime with Biggie
Spying on the dump truck working behind our house
Tobiah sun-tanning his belly while Mommy did too!
We had the privilege of going on a Dolphin Cruise in the Beaufort sound, courtesy of VMAQ-4.
Biggie spotted a wild horse off of Shackelford Island
There were 17 Kids on board to 7 adults...a little outnumbered.
Relaxing on the cruise back home.
A visit from some of his favorite friends from church...wrapped up after pool time.
A trip to the beach.
His friend Zoey playing with Tobiah
The first and second of many rescues to come this summer.
We decided to try something new. Some gracious friends of ours let us borrow their kayak.
Some old friends from VMAQ-2 have returned to New Bern. We are so excited to see the Kempf's. Memorial Day weekend fun in the sun at Shakleford, thanks to them!
One MUST always be stylin', even when out for a morning jog. (Notice his new obsession with rubber bands, bc I wear several bracelets on my arms.)
Signs of summer...
Hugs for best buds
With me being preggers and Gav being a water rat, we pretty much live our afternoons at the YMCA pool.
Another Chocolate donut after church. His reward for being a good boy during SS.
So long May 2013...Welcome June!
