April flowers...

We are sooooo very thankful for the warmer weather and the vast array of sunshine.  After spending all of March at home regrouping, we thought it was time to hit the road for another adventure.  This time Papa and Nana came to help us with the road trip back to TN.  After spending a couple of days in New Bern for some one-on-one time with Gav, we packed up two cars, a trailer, a dog and a child and headed for the open road.

We made it to Papa and Nana's house just in time for Easter Sunday at their church.  It was fun and a wonderful way to start the trip.  Another blessing that ended up giving me a much needed break, was the kids (Carter, Case, Clay, and Claire) were all on Spring Break for the entire week we were there.  I laugh because they would have to "trade-out" while playing with Gavin.  He was wearing them out too!  He has enough energy to light an entire city block!

Easter Sunday 2013

We stopped by the Savannah Fire Department.  They let Gav and Claire become honorary members.

He was too excited!

Papa is know for always having a fire.  He was teaching Gavin how to build one.

Since I have a "thing" with horses.  Nana took Gav to see and pet some that were close by.

Gavin getting to hold his newest cousin...Berkley Lynn Russell.

After a week with Nana and Papa, it was time to make our way to Biggie and DD's house.  They have an awesome lake and park just a couple of blocks from their home.  Needless to say, we were frequent fliers there.

Gavin carrying the bread for the geese.

We can't go to Memphis without going to the zoo!  So we went twice :).

Tobiah and Punk doing what they do best...nothing!

After a fun-filled 2 week vacation to visit grandparents and family, it was time to head home.  Thankfully Gran-Gran was willing to make the trip with me.  It was his turn to spend a week with us!

So we took advantage of the first warm, sunny day and headed to the beach.  This guy can build some sandcastles!

Thanks again to ALL the Family that made April come and go!  We had a great time and will treasure all the memories made.  Now on to month #4...
