We are really enjoying summertime here in NC. VMAQ-4 has welcomed Adam and I into their family with open arms. As much as I harp on the Marine Corps for some things, it is a great way to meet some awesome friends that we will have for the rest of our lives.
One particular couple has been especially kind by allowing us to ride on their boat. That is definitely one of the main things we miss terribly from back home. We can't wait to wake up in Pickwick with the lake between us and the sun. Thank you to Josh (aka Drama) and his wife Angela for taking us down memory lane and giving Gavin an experience that he will remember for days to come!
The Rystrom's love to wake-board and although Adam and I had never tried it before, we were up for anything! No one got hurt (especially Adam and I), we both had fun, and Gavin had a blast...Success!
