After seeing lots of family in Memphis, it was time to move on. Unfortunately because we were all sick, we missed out on visiting BB and Grandma Dye in Kennet. It was going to be a long day trip with Gavin sleeping in his car seat that night on the way home. So with all things considered, we made the tough decision to go ahead to Savannah. We set up camp at Nana and Papa's for the rest of the trip. It was nice not to have to pack and move several times in such a short visit...instead we just did it twice.
Now that we have Gavin, it seems like Tobiah is tired more often. I am not sure why (sarcasm). It may be from constantly escaping G's inability to give "nice touches" sometimes. Either way, Tobiah never ceased to make himself comfortable on the couches and catch up on his zzzz's. Thankfully all the grandparents were dog people too.
Although, these two APPEAR to get along...Bailey wears the pants in this relationship :).
Gavin giving kisses to the dogs...they were less than impressed. They never know what Gavin has planned for them. Lol!
I think he's hungry!
Gavin is not shy AT ALL with dogs. He fell in love with these pint-size puppies that someone dropped off at Nana and Papa's house just a week before we arrived. He even let the pups chew on his fingers. He would just chuckle...
Not only did Gav get the attention he wanted from the animals but he also enjoyed it from everyone else too. He loved being apart of "the boys". He would follow the older boys around the house trying to mimic whatever they were doing at the time. If they were sitting in a "big" chair, he wanted to sit in a big chair. If they were throwing a ball around, he wanted to throw the ball around.

and then trying to add his own little something special. LOL!
Playing with Clay
Laughing with Aunt Tiffany
Reading with Aunt Betsy
Just relaxing with the guys
Tossing the ball with Case
Playing with his new CAT Truck
Look how excited Gavin was when the guys decided to hop in with him
"Driving" with the boys
Time for MORE presents. Gavin got so much that we were unable to bring all of it home with us in the Camry. Spoiled Rotten! We really haven't done a very good job with explaining our minimalistic ideas to the grandparents :). BUT we are very thankful for all the love shown to our little boy, gifts or not.

Thankfully Gran-Gran was able to visit several times throughout the week to keep us from having to travel back and forth, especially while we were all battling the crud.
Nana's Photo Session :)
After being held hostage for three or four days in the house by pneumonia, Gavin was finally feeling good enough to travel to town. We decided there was no better place to visit than Papa's Tire shop. He was able to run around, climb through tires, and visit with the customers.
Although we were challenged this holiday season, family, prayers, and medicine, made it a wonderful trip filled with lots of great memories. We hope that each and every one of you had a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!
I am sure with this one behind the wheel, 2012 will be filled with lots of speed, sparkles, and spankings :)!
