After a long 6 month deployment (our first with children), Daddy finally arrives home! Unfortunately I only made videos of the homecoming and I don't know how to post them on our blog :(. It was an unconventional homecoming to say the least. Because Adam is set to attend a Safety School next month, he came home earlier than the rest of the squadron. He flew commercial air home with another guy. He had several long layovers that were going to make his trip home a 30+ hour commute! But by the grace of God, he was able to stand-by on the last leg home and arrived HOURS early. In fact, Gav and I had just finished up a run and neither one of us had even brushed our teeth much less our hair :). If we had not been married for over 10 years, I would've been upset. But instead we were over-the-moon! Here are some pics of the days leading up to Adam's arrival.
Gavin building a bus on a rainy day!
Next it was on to painting
A little playtime with friends! Notice how red Gavin's face is...
Biggie decided to visit one last time to help me prepare for Adam (yeah right, it was to play with Gavin)!
Collecting snails...
Enjoying a cool day at the pool
Sunning their bellies
This was an exceptionally good nap :)
DADDY"S HOME!!!! We had a few weeks to 'play' and move from the rental house back to our house on Goose Creek, before we set off to FL for the month of Adam's school!
We even ran into some very good friends that were on their way to the Outer Banks for vacation!
This month flew by and made a lot of GREAT memories!
