5 Months!

Grayson is really developing quite the personality.  He started solids this month.  We started with whole grain oatmeal and I just made sweet potatoes for him to try next.  He has started a grunting thing that is really funny.  He does it, most of the time, when he is protesting-mainly food.  He doesn't care for the oatmeal just yet.  But he is getting better with the spoon.  He is super close to rolling over from front to back.  He still only has 2 teeth but I'm sure more are to follow very very soon.  He does well with riding in the BOB for about 4 miles-which is as long as I can push the boys.  The stroller is approximately 55lbs...and only going to get heavier!!

Here is a little comparison of the two boys around 5 months...

Gray's first Solids

I couldn't resist.  This is what they look like while watching Cat in the Hat.

Such a happy baby!

End of February

and hopefully the cold.  As I sit here typing this, Gavin is out of school AGAIN for sleet and ice.  This winter has been crazy and loooong.  I welcome the 'rainy season' as long as 70 degrees come with it!
This month was just as busy as January.  We had more snow, less sickness (Praise the Lord), Adam came home, Gav's school, AND we officially put our house on the market AGAIN.

Recently we took Gavin and Gray to the Barnum and Bailey Circus in Raleigh.  Gavin LOVED it!  However, poor Gray was scared to death of the noise.  I don't know what I was thinking.
I completely forgot how loud it was so we spent most of the time in the car...

We have enjoyed time with some great friends from Q2...the Capps!

And the Buria's.  Grant was trying to sit on Gav's lap.  LOL!  Grant is only 22 months but just as big as Gavin :).

Framily!

These two families will be sorely missed by ALL members of our clan.  They are some of the closest friends I have and they are extremely important to Gavin too!  Yes they are friends but to us they are framily!  We love the Capps' and the Mercers'!!
