36 week Belly Pics
Thank goodness we only have a few more of these to go :)...This has been the most fun (insert sarcasm) of the whole pregnancy for me!
Productive week with mom...
Had a great week this week! We accomplished everything we set out to and more. Today we went to a "baby swap" with the girls from our BFG at Temple. I was able to snag some more clothes :), a diaper genie, and diapers (never have too many of those). Now mom is preparing to head out the door and Kasey will soon be returning from a visit to Savannah, TN.
Adam is making it just fine in Qatar. The temperature has been holding steady at over 100 degrees during the day. However, it is only 80 in his room (insert sarcasm). He is set to be home in a little over 2 weeks! We are still praying for baby Gavin to hold off until then.
Enjoy the pics and a special "thank you" to mom for all the hard work and help this week!

All that's missing is baby Gavin...
My mom and I have been working so hard this week. We started off the week by preparing almost 20 meals to freeze for when baby G arrives next month! Then we tackled the baby's room...finishing hanging the pictures, mobile, and re-arranging the new furniture. Tomorrow we are headed to the doctors for a 35 week update. Also tomorrow, we are going to get the nice fireman on neuse blvd. to set the carseat in the car. The last thing we need to do this weekend is pack for both Gavin, Adam, and myself for the hospital. After that, we should be ready for his BIG arrival! Enjoy the completed pics of Baby Gavins room...
Please take a moment to pause and reflect on the Ole Miss Rebel Mobile...Hotty Toddy!

Baby Classes!
This week has been another busy "baby" week so far. Monday: Kasey and I toured the lovely New Bern hospital. The staff of nurses seem to be really nice and informative. They have an I.D. system that keeps the baby very secure while in the hospital. I just hope the food is good too :). Tonight was the last of 6 child birth classes. We had a guest speaker, a local Pediatrician. He was very helpful with breastfeeding tips, sleeping habits, and other topics dealing with a newborn. He told me that if Gavin had a close family member that is lactose intolerant, then I could pretty much count on our child being intolerant too. So a special "Thank you" goes out to Papa and Adam!
Here are some pics of our class (with one couple missing). The last picture is of our great teacher...

I highly recommend child birthing classes to first-time moms. I truly learned a lot of valuable information. Tomorrow night is the one and only breast-feeding class. Hopefully, with all these classes, Gavin will be set up for success or, at the very least, I will have another degree in child rearing...either way, it was well worth the time and money!

More Pregger Picks...
Well I guess it's that time again. Here is the latest pregger picture of Gavin. This is week number 32 for me, so only 8 more weeks to go!
Gavin's Baby Shower Weekend
Wow what a great weekend! "Big Moma" drove in on Thursday in order to help Kasey with food for the shower. Then on Nana and Tiffany flew in late on Friday night. "B.B. drove in the morning of with Grandma Dye, Aunt Deronda, and cousin Jessica. The baby shower kicked off around 11:00 on Saturday morning! "Thank you" to the wonderful hostesses; Mandy, Heather, and Kasey for such a beautiful shower with lots of family and friends to enjoy it with. Gavin is such a blessed little boy already to have so many folks that love him. He received anything from clothes, to diapers, to toys, to books and the list goes on. After the shower, we came home and rested the remaining part of the day. "B.B" and crew had to leave later that afternoon and head back to South Carolina. On Sunday, Nana and Aunt Tiffany had to catch a plane back to Savannah. Mom, Kasey, and I went to church and then came home and spent HOURS in Gavin's room organizing the new stuff! It was so much fun! More pictures to come of the nursery later (when the crib gets here). For now, enjoy some of the pictures taken of the big day...
