It all started with a runny nose and a small cough. Within 24 hours progressed into O2 sats in the toilet (86) and an ambulance ride to LeBohner! Poor Grayson woke up from his afternoon nap and was enjoying a small snack on the couch, when I noticed him breathing like he had just finished a 5K. Adam was out of town on a Delta trip and Gavin was visiting Nana and Papa. I looked at my dad and said I'm going to take him to Corinth ER. I knew Gray was sick, just didn't know how bad. At the ER, they triaged us pretty quickly and then brought us straight back after checking his O2 sats. They quickly started an IV and administered 3 breathing treatments. His sats FINALLY started increasing after all the meds. because they were so low and they had given him so much medication, the doctor wanted to admit him for observation. Although Corinth ER had done a GREAT job, I felt more comfortable admitting him to Lebohner for pediatric care. So we took an ambulance ride to Memphis in sleet and rain at midnight. Poor Adam called his chief pilot and let him know of the situation. When Adam landed in New Orleans, he quickly rented a car and started driving to Memphis. He arrived around 0300. After a long night, Gray's levels stayed high so we were released after 24 hours. I am soooooo thankful we live close to family. Gavin was taken care of the whole time, allowing Adam and I to take care of Grayson.

Our Paramedic was a father of 4 boys! Needless to say, he helped the ride go smooth for both of us.
At Lebohner...it's been a long day for Gray-diddle.
