Although we visited ALL the grandparents, I'm not sure where the Cromwell and Smith pictures ran off to.  So here is the Scholl Family Christmas with DD and Biggie....

Outer Banks Vacation

A couple of weeks after getting back from our mountain oasis, we were invited on, yet, another vacation.  This time to the beaches of Outer Banks, NC.  We went with two other families.  It was such a special treat to hang out with such good people and Gavin had a couple of play pals too.

The same hurricane that delivered snow to us in the mountains, delivered sand to the beach house we were staying in for the weekend.

Hours after arriving, we lost power for a little while.  The children loved the stories by flashlight.

They even had dance parties!

He made the best of the situation :).

They even watched "Rio" (Gavin's favorite movie.)

We ventured out to a 1800's style farm.  Everything was like it was back in the 1800's.
