Enjoying another weekend with friends...

This week was a good one. I was able to talk to Adam almost every day. He is doing well and getting ready to head to Qatar. We also found out that he may be home a week earlier than expected. GOD IS GOOD!
I attended my 2nd "child-birthing" class. I learned the 3 stages of birth and how "mommy" will have a different attitude for all three. I went by myself which may have been the best thing...not wanting to scare anyone into what I "may" behave like during the labor :). Friday night, I went to the Jones' to hang out with the girls and started another project for Gavin's room. So on Saturday, my sister and the Capps (well most of them) went to the New Bern aquatics pool. It was a beautiful sunny day and the best place to stay cool in the 95 degree heat! After a day at the pool, I went to see a movie with Mandy Jones. Sunday was church. The preacher talked about "letting it fly" which is very pertinent to our life right now. Overall, the weekend was very relaxing and couldn't have been any better.

Playing "Catch Up"

This marks the beginning of the Cromwell Family blog. Where to begin...Adam is currently on deployment number 3. He is flying the Prowler in Afghanistan. I am 28 weeks pregnant with our first child...baby Gavin Spencer. He is set to arrive sometime in late October. We already have a four-legged son, Tobiah. He has been our pride and joy for 7 years now. My sister, Kasey, also lives with us. She has been a great asset to have during the deployment as well as going through this pregnancy. We all currently live in New Bern, NC. We have been here for about 3.5 years now. I really enjoy NC and all that it has to offer...the mountains, the beaches, and the southern hospitality.
