Nana and Papa can't stand it any longer

I am laughing to myself thinking about the "fishy" song that Papa kept singing to Gavin.  This trip, although too brief and last minute, turned out to be a blessing in so many ways.  I know it is a long, hard drive from Savannah to New Bern but Nana and Papa have become "old" pros.  They couldn't stay away any longer...they had to come see their newest grand baby (oh and their son and daughter-in-law too...of course.)  Unfortunately they picked a weekend that we had scheduled a couple of Open Houses...trying to sale or rent our home.  Little did we know, that Nana and Papa would be just the help we needed!  They arrived mid-day on Friday. We spent the day playing with Gavin and enjoying the calm before the storm that was coming for the next 2 days.  Saturday we woke up around 0630 and did the usual...breakfast, walk, and nap time (for G.)  Our first rental appointment was at 0900 and they were right on time.  This family would eventually become our new renters!  They are a sweet couple from the great southern state of GA.  They have a son named Issac, aka "Ike."  Here is where Nana and Papa became just what we needed.  Nana was able to keep Ike company while the Walton's could tour the place, ask questions, all knowing their boy was taken care of.  Papa had the task of keeping Tobiah company on the screened in porch and he did a great job too :).  God really opened the doors for our two families to meet.  They are just what we were hoping for to stay in our home for the next year or two.  And, I think, they would say the same of us too.  You know when things like this happen so quickly and so perfectly that it can only be from God.  There really isn't another explination for it...Praise Him!  Despite knowing these were "our renters," we had previously made other appointments for later on Saturday and Sunday.  Adam and I felt it was the right thing to do, to continue with those appointments...so we did. Nana continued to be the "babysitter" while Papa watched Tobiah.  Although it was a crazy-filled weekend, Nana and Papa got their fill of the G-man!

Answers to prayers for everyone this weekend!!!!
