House Hunting Quantico Style

It's that time again.  Duty calls and we must pack up and hit the road again.  Our time is New Bern, NC has been the most rewarding and challenging times in our lives thus far.  We have been here for almost 5 years now and made so many memories.  We have been blessed beyond our imaginations.  Adam has been on 3 deployments during our time here.  Although they were extremely tough to get through, we now have a stronger marriage because of them!  Our first child was born here, made lots of new friends, enjoyed reuniting with old friends, and learned how to endure hardships.  We took a quick trip to Quantico, VA in order to re-learn the area.  Just like years ago the traffic is beyond words, however, the area is beautiful with lots to offer.  We are planning on soaking up as much trail hiking, visits to D.C., and spending lots of time with each other as possible.  Adam will be attending EWS (Expeditionary Warfare School) and his workload should decrease dramatically.  We are really looking forward to seeing him around the house more often.  Here are some pics we took during our drive there.
Adam wanted to highlight how much room Tobiah has in our bed in the mornings.  He is so neglected :)
During one of our frequent "pit stops."  Gavin did great but was not a fan of the carseat for the 6 hour drive.
He is learning how to pick up his own food and put in his mouth.  He is so proud of himself when he succeeds.
Our boys checking out our new place.  I think Gavin approves of the carpet.
After our trip to the base, we decided to take it easy the rest of the day.  So we headed down to the hotel pool.  Gavin enjoyed his first pool experience.  I am so proud of him...he is our little water baby!

We are trying to get him used to water being in his eyes.  So far, he doesn't seem to mind it.

He loves to splash the water.  He does it for ever every night in the tub too.
