Makes me appreciate the health of our boys!

Grayson had been fighting a minor "anatomy" problem since he was about 9 months old. We consulted a few doctor's about this and were given the advice to hold off on the possibility of surgery.  Long story, short.  Nothing improved and the surgery was inevitable.  Better now than when he began potty training.  Soon, we reluctantly scheduled the surgery at LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis.  It was a VERY MINOR surgery but I was still super nervous about Grayson's reaction to anesthesia because, thankfully, he had never had to deal with it before.

Our day started super early in the morning which should explain him being in his PJs. I requested the earliest possible because we still had to drive back to Pickwick the same day.  Gavin stayed with Biggie and went to the Children's Museum-which happened to be just down the road.

Enjoying all the attention from us and the staff.  I can't say enough about LeBonheur and what they have meant to my family.  We will always choose the extra miles (if possible) in order for our kids to be treated there. Although this surgery was routine for them, they continually showed us patience with every question I through at them-and there were A LOT (shocking).

Starting to get sleepy after being up for so long.

So dad decided to walk some laps...

Afterwards, he was extremely agitated from the medicine and in some pain.  Thankfully we were able to discharge quickly and get him home before the numbing medicine wore off.  He was a trooper!!
