One last VISIT home

Adam was wrapping up his last trip to Yuma, AZ and was set to meet us in TN.  We spent about 3 weeks there while Adam did some last minute renovations in preparation for us to move in mid-May.  It was a great trip…very tiring.  Next time we pull into Hardin County, we will officially be residents.

Gavin became super sick almost immediately when we got there.  He ran over 103 degree fever for almost 10 days!  After several trips to the local urgent care and a threatened visit to Le Boneur Children's Hospital ER, it was concluded that he had Mono!  Yep, our 3 year old had MONO.

Thankfully Grayson never got sick and I had lots of help from Nana and Papa.  Gavin bounced back in true Gavinator fashion and was out exploring in no time.

This was the same bridge and swing that Adam used to play on.

While I was home, Kasey signed us up for a 5K.  I thought, why not.  It was only 40 degrees and raining :).  She did Great!  Beat her goal of 40 minutes and it was my first (of many, I hope) races in Savannah.

Lots of time in TN meant lots of playtime with cousins.  It's hard to tell gavin that he is not their size :).  Everything is "mom, are they bigger than me?  stronger than me?  who is stronger such-in-such or daddy? (Answer is ALWAYS Daddy :).

He did some exploring at his "New" home too.  I think he's gonna like here!

Usually when daddy is gone for an extended period of time, this is what happens...

But have no fear…Daddy is here!  And then it was all work and Little play.  Well maybe half-and-half.  Meet Harry and Susy our new friends.  They would be in the yard every morning and would eat some Cheerios before flying off.

Our new finds while we were home.  The Swedish torch-a new way of having a camp fire.  And my "G" made out of Pickwick Lake Drift wood.

Happy to be together again!

Thank you to Papa and Nana for all your kindness and helpfulness.  See you again in a month!
